Rights of the Consumer

The purchased products are always accompanied by a legal warranty covering defects of production and compliance (i.e. malfunctions, failures and breakages resulting from normal use, defects of the good) of the products for 24 months from the date of delivery of the product.

The legal guarantee cannot be relied on by those who purchased the products as part of its business or professional activity, indicating their VAT.

The legal guarantee entitles you to ask the seller: by choice of the consumer, repair or replacement of the good, without charge, provided that the required solution is not impossible or prohibitively expensive than the alternative, considered: the extent of defect, the value of the product free of defect and the possibility that the alternative can take place without significant inconvenience to the customer;

In the event that the repair or replacement are impossible, prohibitively expensive or late or involve significant inconvenience to the customer and are not effective to solve the problem, the customer is entitled to ask for a price reduction or the termination of the contract. When determining the amount of the reduction or the amount to be returned, it must be taken into account the use of the good. In any case, for minor defects for which it was not possible to repair or replace the product, you will not be able to terminate the contract.

In order to make a warranty claim, the customer must by law:

  • maintain and show the purchase bill;
  • report the defect within 24 months from the purchase date.

How to exercise the Legal Warranty

For all purchases made online on WWW.CHAVALMILANO.COM within a maximum period of 24 months from the date of receipt of the product, the Customer can send to a request for repair/replacement to Chaval Milano.

  • by e-mail to info@chavalmilano.com specifying “Request Support” in the subject and attaching the completed form;
  • by registered mail with acknowledgment of receipt to: Chaval Milano, Corso di Porta Romana, 1 – 20122 MILANO

After receiving the declaration of lack of conformity, within two business days, the CUSTOMER CARE of Chaval Milano will contact the Customer to communicate the procedure for the repair or replacement of the product based on the type of product and the nature of the defect, indicating the estimated date for the return of the repaired product on the form that will send to the Customer.
